The Case Against A Third PartyAs has been discussed over the past few months, the perceived need for a third party in the United States has percolated to a point where it must be addressed. As Republicans we have seen great success in fighting the Obama-Pelosi-Reid Agenda through the Congress. Additionally,the conservative base of the party has made significant headway in bringing the GOP back to its roots. Accolades must be extended on both sides. The lessons learned by those who have begun to cater to the middle of the political spectrum are evident and must be heeded. As a party we are realizing the negative impacts of identity politics and the flaws in changing our message to suit the political moderates.
