Regarding Membership.

Membership in the Republican Executive Committee of St. Johns County is open to registered Republicans residing in St. Johns County who have either been elected by the public in the Presidential Preference Primary held every 4 years, or, in the alternative, elected by the REC Members to fill an open seat.  The requirements for membership are established in Florida Statutes Title IX

The attached documents (3) total, (4) pages total  contains all the forms required to declare yourself a candidate for a Precinct Committee Persons seat.  Fill all the forms out.  If you know people on the REC use them as your references.  If not just supply two other people. Once you turn in all the paperwork, the Membership Committee will review your application ASAP and will try to have your recommendation ready for the next meeting.  This is a best efforts promise to process these forms as fast as possible however, we need at least 3 weeks to process the application.

Most applications will breeze through some others may take a little more time.  The more information you complete on the form, the faster it will go.  If you do not have access t a computer and printer, ask Eric West or  Randy Covington for hard copies at the next meeting or contact one of us by e-mail and we will mail them to you.


Please note that the State Oath (form DSDE24) for Precinct Committeeman must be notarized.
